Our normal hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30AM to 6:00PM. We are closed on weekends. Other closures include all national holidays, a one week Summer Break (around Independence Day), and a one week Winter Break (generally 12/24-12/31).

Tuition Payments

Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. Late payments are subject to a late fee equal to $10 + $5 for each day after the 1st. A monthly electronic invoice is made through Brightwheel. A family may request to pay by check. Checks should be hand-delivered, and be made payable to: INTERLAKE CHILD CARE CENTER

Sibling Policy

For families with a younger sibling enrolled at Interlake, ICC offers a $100 monthly discount, applied to the younger child. 

Late Pick Ups

All children must be signed out by the time the center closes. ICC reserves the right to apply a late fee equal to $5 plus an additional $1 for every minute after time of closing. The Brightwheel attendance log monitors the sign-in and sign-out time. Fees will be applied through Brightwheel.

Refunds

ICC is a not-for-profit, and all tuition is used for program operations. Therefore, tuition is not prorated, and refunds are not offered under any circumstances, including but not limited to: illnesses, absences, vacations, holidays, planned closures, or unplanned / emergency closures.

Fees

Upon joining the wait list, a $115 non-refundable wait list fee is due. Upon enrollment, a $115 non-refundable registration fee is due (a paid waitlist fee will be applied to the registration fee).

Deposit

A security deposit of $600 is due upon acceptance. LegUp receives $100 as a non-refundable administrative fee. Interlake receives the remaining $500 to hold. Provided a 60-days notice is given (see “Leaving the Program”), the deposit will be refunded by being applied to the final month of tuition. A family may choose to donate their deposit to Interlake.

Leaving the Program

A minimum 60-days official notice must be given in order to be eligible to receive the deposit refund. “Official notice” includes an email to administration <admin@interlakechildcare.org> or a phone call to the office. The final month is due in full, and is not prorated.

Subsidy

WA State and the City of Seattle help subsidize child care for working families, for children ages 1mo to 13 years. Interlake participates with these state programs to provide high-quality and affordable child care. You can visit the CCAP or DCYF websites to review eligibility information.
