Hours

Our normal hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30AM to 6:00PM. We are closed on weekends. Other closures include all national holidays, a one week Summer Break (the week of Independence Day), a one week Winter Break (generally 12/24-12/31), and six planned in-service closures (spread out through the school year).

Interlake’s part time schedules have fixed days of attendance. 

  • The 2 days/week schedule is for Tue + Thu each week. 
  • The 3 days/week schedule is for Mon + Wed + Fri each week.

Schedules

Interlake is open Mon-Fri. Part-time schedules are offered with fixed days of attendance only. The 3 days/week schedule is for attendance on Mon+Wed+Fri. 2 days/week is for Tue+ Thu.

Tuition Payments

Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. Late payments are subject to a late fee equal to $10 + $5 for each day after the 1st. Tuition includes the food program, and covers the entire month of care. A monthly electronic invoice is made through Brightwheel. A family may request to pay by check. Checks should be hand-delivered to the office, and be made payable to: INTERLAKE CHILD CARE CENTER

Sibling Policy

For families with two children enrolled at Interlake, ICC offers a $100 monthly younger sibling discount.

Late Pick Ups

All children must be signed out by the time the center closes at 6p. ICC reserves the right to apply a late fee equal to $5 plus an additional $1 for every minute after the time of closing. Brightwheel attendance log monitors the sign-in and sign-out times. Fees will be applied through Brightwheel.

Refunds & Prorated Tuition

ICC is a not-for-profit, and all tuition is used for program operations. Therefore, tuition is not prorated, and refunds are not offered under any circumstances, including but not limited to: illnesses, absences, vacations, holidays, planned closures, or unplanned/emergency closures. The first and last months of tuition are also not eligible to be prorated.

Waitlist or Registration Fee

In order to join the waitlist, there is a one-time, non-refundable waitlist fee of $100 per child. For instances of open availability (i.e. the family is not on the waitlist), there is a one-time, non refundable registration fee of $100 per child. Each family pays only one of these fees, per child.

Security Deposit

A security deposit of $500 is due upon accepting enrollment. The deposit is eligible to be refunded, provided a 60-days notice of intent to withdraw is given (see “Leaving the Program”). The refund will be applied toward the final month of tuition.

Leaving the Program

A minimum 60-days official notice of intent to withdraw from care must be given in order to be eligible to receive the deposit refund. “Official notice” can be a written letter, or an email to administration at <admin@interlakechildcare.org>. 

Subsidy

WA State and the City of Seattle help subsidize child care for working families with children up to 13 years of age. Interlake participates with these state programs to provide high-quality and affordable child care. You can visit the CCAP or DCYF websites to review eligibility information.
