Preschool Program

Licensed for 28 spaces, we maintain a child-to-caregiver ratio of 7:1. The daily schedule includes a variety of projects: science, math, music, sensory, art, cooking, dramatic play and language arts. Other than at mealtimes and some story times, Preschoolers are divided into small groups between the two classrooms and outdoor area. Each preschooler belongs to a language arts group of age mates, with that group’s primary teacher. Multi-age choices provide the children opportunities for them to be mentored by older preschoolers and in turn mentor younger ones.

Our program equips children to be vigorous, open minded learners able to work on their own and with others. Such projects as building robots or making a rainforest may stretch across days or weeks – involving collaboration with many kids.
